How is it possible two permids have the same associated LEI?

Both 5050918567 and 5040949940 permids return the same LEI value 549300PV16C2TA1DPA40, however in LEI it is only one company with different names. How is it possible to have more than one permid? Can you review, please?

The short answer is no, one organization cannot have more than one PermID. PermID is a unique and permanent identifier - there can be only one.

LEI 549300PV16C2TA1DPA40 is attached to 5050918567, Grupo Rotoplas SAB de CV, a publicly listed company, incorporated in Mexico in 1993.

PermID 5040949940 belongs to Rotoplas SA de CV, incorporated in Mexico in 1978.

According to the latest annual report, Rotoplas SA de CV is a subsidiary of Grupo Rotoplas SAB de CV.
