Tick History Quota

We have an internal process which monitors our tick history quota and generates a report each month. When we compare this to the Tick History Quota in DSS the two totals differ so we are trying to pinpoint the issue.

We have based our report on the following

1. For each unique instrument requested in the month, that requests an Historical/Terms and Conditions and Time and sales report this would be a total value of 3

2. If an instrument EG VOD.L is request on Monday and then again on Tuesday but with a different date this would still only count as 3 as it had previously been requested.


Question if an instrument fails any report is this still included in the quota, if we request a Time and Sales report for Trades and one for Quota data is this counted as 2 on the quota?
