Python API Issues (troubleshooting Error Code 401)

Hi,

I try to connect refinitiv terminal with Python API Key. My connection has been good so far. But now, When I try to run my code providing that connect refinitiv eikon, it occurs "EikonError: Error code 401 | Eikon Proxy not running or cannot be reached. Please read the documentation on troubleshooting" and "[MainThread 3396] Reset a Desktop session with new app_key" etc.

Anybody help with this issue?

First, please make sure that the Eikon API proxy is running properly. You can refer to the Eikon Data API and Refinitiv Data Library - Troubleshooting article for more information.

You can also enble logging in the API by using the following code.

import eikon as ek
ek.set_log_level(1)
