If the Python Library is the Refinitiv Data Library for Python, the library supports 3 sessions as follows:

• Desktop Session: This one is similar to the Eikon Data API that mentioned by Raksina. It depends on which Eikon variant
• Platform Session: This one consumes data from Refinitiv Data Platform (RDP). It does not require Eikon account, but it requires the RDP access credential/permission.
• Deployed ADS: This one requires deployed RTDS.

If you mean "Is Python Eikon Data API available to The Eikon user?", it depends on which Eikon variant you're in, you can contact your account representative for more information on this.

Or please give more detail of the question for further information.

@raksina.samasiri @wasin.w client wants to know if he has access to filings data in Python API. According to him, he has access to it in his current Eikon Variant but would like to know how he can access it using API or if additional entitlement is needed before he can access it. Which is why we wanted to know if Refinitiv Data Library for Python that Filings Data has according to @pf will all data be available to the client or does it have restrictions?

Please check with the account team or sales team to verify if the client has permission to access the required data via API.
