Thanks for the updated details. I can see you can't connect to the ADS streaming server as specified: ws:// xxx.xx.xxx.x:15000/WebSocket.

One cause could be if you are behind a firewall - I don't know your setup or if the server is within your intranet. You also mentioned the "market data team" are able to connect - is this team within your own organization and on the same network as you? If yes to these questions, can you confirm the version of the RD Library for Python both you and the market data are using?

Another suggestion is to try one of the native samples that do not use the RD Library. For example, you can see if you can access your server by following this tutorial: Tutorials | Devportal (refinitiv.com)
