RFA.Net ValueAdd configuration issues

1. ValueAdd doesn't provide a way to specify a user defined namespace (ie. merge config DB) if we have multiple consumers (with different configurations) in the same application.

2. ValueAdd ConsumerCore.GetConfigDb() isn't yet avaiIable when you specify a custom ReqMsg for login and directory. This makes the RFAConfiguration file useless if we need to retrieve some custom settings.

I implemented fixes/workarounds and had to recompile the ValueAdd dll.

Question: Would it be possible to improve the configuration management of the ValueAdd library to avoid those workarounds in the future ?

The ValueAdd project is provided in the package as customer-modifiable set of source code, so that users can modify the sources and produce new libraries to suit their custom
needs. Howerver, in this case, users are responsible for support and maintanance of the modified source code.

If you want to improve the pre-built RFA Value Added library, you may raise the enhancment request via the feedback menu of MyAccount's Contact Us page.

In the Feedback page, please fill your information (e.g. Name, Email, Country). The
product name could be RFA C++, as the RFA .Net is missing.

In the description box, please add the following information about the request.

    • Product Name (e.g. RFA .Net)
    • Full Description –more details is better.
    • Reasons for enhancement - many enhancements are rejected due to
insufficient business justification or impact assessment
    • Urgency of the request
