How do I use RSearch DLL to search using keywords?

How do I use RSearch DLL to search using just keywords like the general search function in Reuters search? Or is there another function to do that? Where can we find the list of Asset Class and Criteria of Rsearch? Thanks

RSearch API can only be used to perform criteria searches with pre-defined set of criteria. You can explore the criteria available through the Search GUI in Eikon Excel. Look for the Search button in Eikon Excel ribbon. In the small pop-up Search window click on the magnifying glass to open the large Search window. Then click on an asset class tab in that window to view asset class specific search criteria available. Once you've set up the criteria and performed the search in the Search window click on Create Function button, which will paste RSearch worksheet function into Excel workbook. RSearch COM API mimics the functionality provided by RSearch worksheet function.
At the moment the interface that provides autosuggest capability in Eikon when you type in text in Eikon search/command bar is not exposed through any public APIs available with Eikon, and there are no near term plans to expose it.
