Run API code from service

Hi all, When I run the API code from service, the redi+ application disconnected and it seems that the Redi API blocked that access.

Please advice,

    Hello again @yakirhersko,

We have discussed the approach and have confirmed that:

REDI API cannot be used from a Windows Service. It needs to be run by a Windows user
where it is coupled to the user’s session, that must be active and running in
    the REDI application.

    Hope this clarifies,

  • Hello @yakirhersko ,

Are you running C#? Windows version? Framework version?

Is it one of TR included examples, or your custom code?

Is this same code running successfully as console app? windows app? And only choking up as service? Or it has started out as service you have not tried running it otherwise?

Is service a new project "windows service", or using a service wrapper, if a wrapper, which one?

Any other useful info to understand and reproduce exactly what you are seeing?

If possible, please zip and attach to the question.

    We aim to help

    Thanks
