Eikon API(R) connection is not working with Eikon desktop running in my PC

HI,

I',m trying to download historical data with the eikonapir library. I'm using Windows 10 and the latest version of Eikon. Eikon is running and, when I try to download the historical price of AAPL, I have the next error message:

Error in curl::curl_fetch_memory(url, handle = handle) :

Failed to connect to localhost port 9000: Connection refused

I have already used eikonapir::set_proxy_port(9000L) and Eikon is running with real time data.

What can I do?

First, you can try to set the proxy port to 9060L.

eikonapir::set_proxy_port(9060L)  

Then, if it is still not working, please follow the steps in the Eikon Data API(Python) Troubleshooting article to verify the problem.
