How to run Eikon API over AWS EC2 or on a Virtual Machine?

How can we run Eikon Data API (using python) on the AWS EC2 instance. The desktop application of Eikon fails to run because of system configuration. Is there are streatlined process? OR is there any other refinitiv product or service which can allow eikon usage over the server?

    Hi @roman.lutz,

    Eikon API is licensed for use on the desktop running Eikon application only. It cannot be used in a remote machine, nor the data is allowed to be redistributed except for the Eikon named user. If you are interested in running data in a server application, please look into TickHistory/Datascope or Refinitiv Data Platform, which are enterprise level APIs and allowed to be used in server application.

    If your intention is to run Eikon Data API in a cloud; then codebook app within Eikon is a Refinitiv cloud hosted jupyter environment.
