rmdsserver replay pre-recorded TREP data at original tick rate
hi - I have recorded RMDS data and I can replay it with rmdstestserver/rmdsserver. How do I make the replay happen at the same rate as I recorded it? To be clear I dont want to set the rate at some average rate, but I'd like it to replay at the same range of rates that I saw on the feed when I captured the canned data. Im…

RSSL_DMT_MARKET_PRICE refresh/upfate message datasize field
In order to test our application we are using sink_driven_source reading generated XML messages based on those captured by rmdstestclient. rmdstestclient and sink_driven_src usage problem
Hello, I tried rmdstestclient to capture quote data in binary file about 10 minutes and later used sink_driven_src to replay data captured. But I found the consumer receiving the same update message again and again. So is there any command line option that makes sink_driven_src replay data captured only instead of infinite…

simulating source directory group filter using sink driven source and/or ADS

sink_driven_src sends streamId 0 when changing item groupId
When running sink_driven_src in interactive mode, I can use the 'item_group' command to change the groupId to which a given stream belongs: Enter Command (help): item_group Enter Item Name: RYA.I Enter Group: 99 As you'd expect, this results in an unsolicited status message containing the new groupId -- but it seems that…

Recording and playing back message received timestamp in rmdstestclient and sink_driven_src tool
Is there a way for us to configure the rmdstestclient to also record the timestamp at which each message was received and then have the sink_driven_src put that timestamp in a separate FID of the message during playback? This would allow us to more accurately simulate exactly what happens when consuming the data in a live…

I was doing a performance test on our TREP using sink_app and sink_driven_src with rmdstestclient.
It was the first such test I'd done since moving from IDN to ELEKTRON. I had trouble getting newer versions of sink_driven_src to run (I'm assuming there are newer modifications I needed to make to my capture file). I was able to get the version working that I used in 2010 (ssl4.2.F38). That version is not multi-threaded.…
