I'd like to work from home. How do I do that? (To be honest, I already know how. Just wondering if anyone's documented the process, or if it's all been passed along via "word of mouth" up until now.)

Here's what I did: 1. Request a certificate and install Cisco VPN as per these instructions:
http://inquira.thomsonreuters.com/search/index?page=content&id=IN10546 2. Install the remote desktop application of your choice (Remote Desktop Connection is built in to windows and works great, Microsoft Remote Desktop is free and works on Mac and iOS). 3. Start working

One wrinkle to the process described above -- I don't think contractors can request certificates on their own, I believe an employee has to request it for them. Typically, this would be their team coach or admin assistant, but I don't think there are restrictions on who can submit the request, as long as they're an employee.

One added benefit of having a certificate assigned to you is that you can also access WLAN-GLOBAL wireless hotspot. I'm not sure if this holds true for other offices around the globe, but that's definitely the case for London South Collonade
