Bad Link on Desktop SDK - Build your first app - Step 1.

http://openeikon.azurewebsites.net/desktop-sdk/build-your-first-app/ The first link named "EikonDevAddinInstaller.msi" links to a file named "VS2013Addin.msi" The second link named "OpenEikonDesktopAppV1.zip" links to a file named "VS2012Addin.msi" Shouldn't we be offering separate, properly labeled, links to these files? [it should be noted that the '12 version does not work on VS Express, haven't tried that with '13] Can we get the template link fixed?

Best Answer

  • Now the links are presented as:

Run EikonDevAddinInstaller.msi for Visual Studio 2012

Run EikonDevAddinInstaller.msi for Visual Studio 2013

Please be aware that VS Express do not implement the Add-Ins feature, that's why it doesn't work for you.
