Eikon For Developers: Does the .NET SDK install on VS12/13 Express?

Hello. I tried adding the SDK to VS12 Express a few months ago with no success. Was it just that I didn't try hard enough, or do you need to have a proper (not free) version of VS? Thanks.

VS Express is not supported. See the Prerequisites section at the developer's portal.
http://openeikon.azurewebsites.net/desktop-sdk/build-your-first-app/ We have an enterprise license to VS Pro. You have to "Buy" it through eProcurement then download it from MSDN.

There is no support for any kind of add-ins in Express versions of Visual Studio.
