Running Static Content on Apache Httpd

Hi I was running StaticContent on Apache Httpd the last time I was here, about 1.5 years ago. Not know what future had in store for me, I didn't save the conf file back then. Is anybody using Apache Httpd to run Static Content ? Do you know if there is a setup doc somewhere ? If not, would you be able to share your conf file.

  • Apache HTTP servers serves static content by default. There is no configuration required beyond setting up a document root. If you want to integrate the service with caching layers, etc. then the configuration can get a little more complex. The DCO LAP server (Linux, Apache, PHP, Python, Perl) serves static content out of the box, and dynamic content via mod_fcgid if you enable it.
