Does Tech Overflow Ask URL Accept Paraemter for Tags?

I'd like to provide a URL that will take a user to Tech Overflow's "ask" view and pre-populate the tags. e.g. <a href="http://.../questions/ask?**tags=newsplus**>Ask a question about NewsPlus</a> But it doesn't look like its supported:
http://meta.osqa.net/questions/8186/can-i-create-an-ask-question-url-with-the-tags-pre-set Am I missing anything? Thank you.
